How do I redeem a voucher?

You can easily redeem your voucher code in your cart or in the last step before completing your order.

The first step gives you an overview of your cart when you go to "Edit cart". Please click on the field under **I have a voucher** and enter your voucher code here. Then confirm your entry by clicking the **Redeem voucher** button.

You also get another chance to redeem your voucher code in the last step before completing your order. Here, too, you confirm entry of your code by clicking the button.

My voucher has a minimum purchase value. What does that mean?

SportSpar vouchers are often subject to a few conditions. You'll always find these near the voucher code, in the small print, so-called asterisk text. Sometimes a **minimum purchase value** or a **minimum order value** is stated. We explain the difference between these two amounts.

**Example: minimum purchase value €20**  
Your order must have a value of at least €20 to redeem the voucher code. Shipping costs do not count towards reaching a minimum purchase value. If you send back part of your order after receiving it and the value of your order then falls below the minimum purchase value of €20, the voucher can no longer be taken into account or deducted.  
When a minimum purchase value is specified, the voucher can only be taken into account if the invoice amount, after deducting the return, still meets at least the minimum purchase value.

**Example: minimum order value €20**  
Here too, your order must have a value of at least €20 for the voucher code to be redeemed. Shipping costs likewise do not count towards reaching a minimum order value. However, a possible return plays no role here. Regardless of whether you send back part of your order after receiving it or not, the voucher value remains valid in this case.  
When a minimum order value is specified, only the time of your order is decisive for taking the voucher code into account, not the amount after a possible return. So the voucher is taken into account in any case.

Why can't I redeem my voucher code?

If your discount code or voucher code cannot be redeemed in the cart, you can check the following possible causes:

**Did you enter the code in the correct input field?**  
You can easily redeem your voucher code in your cart or in the last step before completing your order. The first step gives you an overview of your cart when you go to "Edit cart". Please click on the field under **I have a voucher** and enter your voucher code here. Then you need to confirm your entry by clicking the **Redeem voucher** button.

**Has a space snuck in?**  
Please check whether you entered the code correctly. The code may only consist of the specified characters (letters and numbers). Please make sure no space has snuck in before or after it.

**Is the voucher still valid?**  
Promotional vouchers are usually tied to a time-limited campaign and therefore have a limited validity period. You'll always find this near the voucher code, in the small print, so-called asterisk text. If you received a voucher by email or letter, the validity period can be found there.  
  
SportSpar voucher codes are often redeemable only once per order and per person. If you've already redeemed your voucher code in an earlier order, it is unfortunately no longer valid.

**Have you reached the minimum purchase value?**  
Some of our vouchers are tied to a minimum purchase value. Please check whether your order has reached the minimum purchase value. Whether the code requires a minimum purchase value can be found in the small print, so-called asterisk text, next to the validity period, or in the respective terms and conditions of the promotion.

**Have you combined several discount codes?**  
Only one voucher code can be redeemed per order.

**Is the voucher code tied to certain products or categories?**  
Some of our promotional vouchers are tied to selected products (e.g. mega sale mix), categories (e.g. football items only) or campaigns (e.g. SparClub members only). You'll find all the conditions relating to the voucher in the small print, so-called asterisk text.

Where can I find gift vouchers from SportSpar?

Unfortunately, we don't yet offer SportSpar gift vouchers for purchase. However, our team is already working hard to add various gift vouchers to our range.

Can I give SportSpar vouchers as a gift or use them more than once?

Unfortunately, we don't currently offer vouchers for purchase. A voucher can generally only ever be redeemed once per customer, and in most cases cannot be combined with other voucher codes.

How long is a voucher code valid?

Promotional vouchers are usually tied to a time-limited campaign and therefore have a limited validity period. You'll always find this near the voucher code, in the small print, so-called asterisk text. If you received a voucher by email or letter, the validity period can be found there.

The thank-you voucher for signing up to our newsletter is sent to you by email and has no time limit. It can be redeemed at a time of your choosing.

What happens to the voucher value if I return one or more items?

**Vouchers with a minimum purchase value:** Most of our promotional vouchers are tied to a minimum purchase value. If items are sent back, this minimum purchase value is sometimes no longer met, meaning your voucher code can no longer be taken into account. The voucher is then deducted again from the refund. This applies to fixed-amount vouchers (e.g. €5) and percentage discount codes (e.g. 10%).

**Vouchers without a minimum purchase value:** If the voucher code is not tied to a minimum purchase value, the voucher (e.g. 10%) is deducted proportionally in the event of a return and offset against the new merchandise value. A return of one or more items has no effect on fixed-amount vouchers (e.g. €5) that can be used without a minimum purchase value.
